Swiss Trading and Shipping Association (STSA)

STSA is a non-profit, non-political Swiss association that is the leader in commodity trading and shipping activities, trade finance companies, and related services. Founded in 2006 as GTSA, it became, in 2014 under the name STSA, an umbrella organisation that represents the interests of 3 regional associations, 170 members and institutions, over 100 professionals participating in expert Working Groups. The association provides a neutral platform of exchange for industry professionals, building relationships between the authorities and related stakeholders, and defending the industry’s interests in the public forum. It also serves as a link to the general public, enhancing the latter’s understanding of the industry by explaining its economic and societal roles.
